Gurnett Aquaduct

Last night we went to the Boars Head for a meal and believe it or not there was no moaning by Paul because the food was very good. Paul had a Tai Green Curry and I had Salmon and Cod fish cakes. The food was freshly cooked and there were quite a few people eating which is a good sign and the food was reasonably priced. Didn't rush off this morning just took our time in the heat, slapped on plenty of sun screen and wore a hat passed Leon and Rae on Old Bovine, again only managed a quick hello as it was us on the move this time. I'm sure they will catch up with us at some point. We had decided that we would moor at the Gurnett aqueduct needless to say there weren't any spaces at the 48hr obviously the rings are spaced too far apart so there were large gaps between the boats unless someone had used 1 ring and a pin didn't matter as we managed to get in just past the designated moorings and although we about a foot from the bank the dogs can get off okay and we are quite happy. It really has been hot today I don't mind it but the dogs were suffering.
Tomorrow we aim to tackle Bosley locks must fill up with water and empty the toilet. Ive run out bread as some one keeps taking the odd slice to use as bait, so lunches will be a challenge for a couple of days.
