Well it was a wise move to stay put yesterday as it rained virtually all day. Didn't stop a few hardy souls make their way up this rural canal and boy did they look wet.
Left this morning around 10 and just as we started to leave the mooring a boat was coming in the opposite direction how did I know that was going to happen. Plan was to get to the 48 hour moorings at Hinckley then catch the bus into town. Needless to say there was no space so on we went. Stopped briefly at Trinity Marina as Paul wanted to see if they could order us another shoreline solar panel. We await their call to see if one can be delivered to the marina. We found a nice spot just past the Triumph factory before bridge 19 only a couple of hours cruising today will continue slowly, know that at Market Bosworth there is a farm shop so if we can get there tomorrow I can get some more milk, but knowing our luck there wont be any room. Yet again it has started to rain at least we managed to moor up so have managed to stay dry for once.
