For once the forecasters got it right and we woke this morning to 4inches of snow. We had planned to move but have decided to stay put although they say we are due more snow tonight. The dogs had a great time when I took them out first thing, this is only the second time thay have seen snow in their lives. There are plenty of people in the park obviously not able to make it to work, although there seems to be plenty of traffic on the road. The kids are busy making snow men, the schools here are shut. A few inches of snow and everything grinds to a halt, no plane noise either as they have shut Heathrow.
A couple of boats have passed us what brave souls they are. Paul has rung the doctors for a repeat prescription only be told they dont do them over the phone so he will have to call in when we finally get to Uxbridge then he has to wait 48 hours for it to be ready. We have to be through Denham Deep by Sunday at the latest or will be stuck till the 27th. So it looks as if no matter what the weather we will have to leave here tomorrow.

When we need a repeat prescription we post the repeat prescription form (included with the tablets the last time they were prescribed) to the GP, including a stamped sae, and then take it to a chemist to dispense. Saves having to go to the GP.
