On Sunday Jamie and Mark came to see us, a bit bleary eyed after the concert in Northampton but bacon and egg butties and a cuppa did brighten them up a bit. F1 was watched and not a lot else happened that day. Monday at long last Eric and Sandy managed to get up to see us, they have been busy sorting stuff out and are now on their way to see friends in Wales so we were on route. We spent a lovely day with them yesterday and will see them again today before they set off.
Then off course we have to get last minute supplies for us and the dogs before we set off tomorrow. The weather looks good so hopefully once we are moored up again the windows can be taken out and the wood surrounds rubbed down and varnished as they are beginning to look a bit tired, Paul also has to replace the wooden corners in the windows as these were never put back after the boat was painted.
So although the list is getting shorter there are still some things that take priority over others. However the end is in sight and in the next couple of weeks all will be finished. It has only taken us 11 months to get straight.
Oh yes, the poles still haven't been painted F1 and family have taken precedence.
