FOR SALE

PISTON BROKE IS NOW SOLD.

Sunday, 5 June 2011

That's handy.

As you are aware where we are moored you need to use the plank. When Paul got ours down he found that one end was as rotten as a pear so he thought it was best not to use it. Not for my sake of course but for the welfare of the dogs, so Pauls work bench was put to use as our plank. As luck would have it we had only been here a couple of hours when two lengths of decking came floating down the canal so we now have our new plank!

One coat of undercoat on.

Today we have been a bit side tracked, we splashed out and bought a new radio and speakers for the boat and Paul has spent the day putting the new speakers into place.

Neat eh!

We have another pair of speakers to go up the back. The radio has an USB port for me to plug my new MP3 player into, all this high tec gadgetry is a bit mind blowing to this old girl.

We had a nice surprise when Tom and Jan popped into see us, they are in the process of having a new boat built and have been following our blog (along with others) for a year or two. Being Kiwi’s they are friends of Dot n Derek, just wish the boat had been a bit tidier as Paul was in the process of wiring the speakers in and all my books were scattered all over the place. Just hope that next time we see you both the boat is neat and tidy.

So now I have the job of copying some music to my MP3, that will keep me out of mischief for a while.

Friday evening we went to Pizza Hut for a meal and wont be going back, pizza was cold and not very good value still you don't know until you try it. Think tomorrow the plank will have  top coat while the weather is dry. I will be busy getting to grips with the transfer of my music…………
