Well the bank account is empty, so it must be time to leave Rugby. We have all the provisions we need for us and the dogs. We popped to B & Q in Coventry and Paul got the tiles he wanted for the engine room. As we left the store the heavens opened and we got WET. it was sunny when we left the boat so there we were in cardi’s by the time we got to the bus stop there was a distinct aroma of damp dog permeating from us. On the way through Rugby town we popped in to pick up our glasses so we can see clearly now (just like the song). We have met up with Tom and Jan again as Tom kindly lent me a some music to put onto my MP3 player, he also spent some time with me putting a new programme on my laptop.
Now then John our new plank is tanalized wood and Paul did let it dry for a day or three, it has only had undercoat as every time Paul gears himself up to topcoat it it rains so plank is still nude.
Now the plan is to leave here in the morning, I have a letter to post so a final trip to Tesco in a while. Our friends Pete and Carol are due here as I write haven't seen them for a couple of years it will be a good re-union.
Made the mistake of leaving the Nicholson's out and Paul now says he wants to go to Chester so who knows we may do Stourport and Chester what’s the rush after all.
