We left Penkridge this morning after spending a nice few days there. We managed to get to the market buying what we needed and a few bits extra. The dogs now have new beds.
Saffie loves hers.
Crystal hasn't slept on hers at all, how ungrateful is that!
We also managed to get some cushions to go on the lockers in the cratch which makes it a bit more comfortable to sit out there.
The journey was a pleasant one but again every lock between Penkridge and Gailey was against us never mind I need the exercise . There was the odd shower but not enough to worry about. Paul wanted to watch the Shooting so around 11.30 we found a nice spot and just as we moored up the heavens opened so that was handy. Boat traffic today all seems to be going in the opposite direction to us not that we mind that. Saw a funny sight
We did a double take as this was coming passed us backwards then we saw it was being pushed by a little tug.
Not a good photo how the guy steering the tug saw where he was going I do not know.
Will stay here for the night now as there are a few Olympic events I want to watch this afternoon, then it will be an early start in the morning looks like we are going to get wet so will have to dig out the wetties.
