Woodend Lock

Last night we moored up near bridge 69 yet again, early evening nb Scallywag came by and moored up behind us. We see Rob and Julie when we are in the Braunston area as their home mooring is Wigrams. They very kindly invited us aboard for a drink and it was nice to talk about our families needless to say the  men talked cars as both Paul and Rob have an interest in old vehicles. We got back on board around 11pm which is very late for us and it was around this time that the rain came down. What is it about lying in bed and listening to the pitter patter  on the roof.

This morning we joined the queue heading towards Rugely as luck would have it when we got there we were able to moor up and get shopping, some of which I forgot because Paul was rushing me.

We are now at Woodend Lock got here about 2.30 which was just as well because now there isn't a space to be had. woodend lock 06-10 014

It is a bit tight here and you cant get right up to the bank in places. Another glorious day, my little legs are still a bit on the pasty side but I am persevering.
