Thanks

Thank you for the comments re Skype what I deduce is that we can chat okay but to use the video link is a no no ah well I suppose to have a free call is better then nothing, will get in touch with Paul's brother in Oz and see how we get on. Tried Skype again and now we don't even get a ringing tone we don't seem to be having a lot of luck do we. (Is the canal calling I wonder)

Went into Rugby today to sort out the mobile modem, the ladies in the Vodofone shop were very helpful and we now have a "dongle"type connection as they don't make the one we had any more. Didn't charge as they said we were due an update, so far haven't noticed any real difference. We then caught another bus to Homebase nr Brownsover park Paul now has another 3 and a half litres of green paint. 1 litre of one mix and 2.5 litres of the other these to be mixed together to get the desired colour. Then back on the bus to Rugby, while waiting at the stop for the Hilmorton bus got chatting to an old fella with a walking frame there were a few of us waiting at this point but obviously the queue got larger as time went by. When the bus eventually turned up there was the usual serge of people to get on, the chap with the frame got the right raving hump, he had a go at a bloke of about 80 accusing him of pushing in as there were people who had been waiting longer than him this old boy said the bus is empty whats your problem. They say the youth of today have a problem, thought these two were going to come to blows. Never a dull moment on public transport. By the time we got back to the boat it was way past lunch time so with all this de-installing and re-installing programmes on the PC not a lot has been done today. Our friends on nb Adreseus went past on their to the Ashby getting wet of course as its raining again!!!!!!

Hi Lynne

Paul and the paint saga are keeping us amused! Would it not be simpler to re-paint the whole thing in a new off the shelf or from the paint chart colour? It would keep Paul out of mischief! Don't stop the ramblings - we get concerned when you disappear for a while. One of these days we will catch up with you. We are very much at the early stages of planning our escape and are tied to the land at the moment but a plan and wish list are taking place.
