For the past few days we have really chilled out. Not doing much at all. We took the dogs for a nice walk round the quarry on Sunday after the MOTOGP finished and that made a pleasant change.
Yesterday we popped into a few banks to see what was on offer as we need to re-invest some money soon. The response we got from the majority of the big boys was “ if you don't like what we can offer you go somewhere else”. The only place that was any help was the Coventry building society so we have an appointment with them in a couple of weeks time.
This morning it was off to the yard as we haven't been since last week. Work has certainly progressed, I think the back bulk head is taking the time as it is a fiddly job.
That 20 inches has made all the difference!!
New scuppers in place so the residue from the chimney doesn't spoil the sign writing.
This is all the new steel work in place there are still bits and pieces to do so we are hoping that it will be done by the end of the week. Then John the canopy man can come and measure up for the new pram hood. The steel for the engine bed arrived today so hopefully soon the engine will be put in its final resting place. That just leaves the spray foaming which is booked for Monday then it will be all systems go for the internal refit of the new engine room and put back our bedroom and bathroom. That means I may be able to get down to Kent the weekend after next.
