Yesterday the engine was lifted in, it isn't in its final position but at least it is in the boat. Paul didn't realise just how big the engine was until it was unwrapped.
Our 240v generator is not fitted to the engine yet however the fly wheel had been factory fitted.
The construction of the new rear bulk head is well under way.
Paul had mixed thoughts of whether he had extended the bulk head to far into the stern area however although shorter it still gives us more than enough space for our requirements and of course extra storage space beneath.
Paul made the journey to the yard by bus this morning leaving me to get the shopping. The rear hatch sliders are going to be extended back to where the mushroom is at present. Mushroom has to come out any way as this is where the new engine bulk head will be. Hopefully with a larger hatch, access will be easier and Paul wont hit his head!!!!!!!!
