Today we walked the wall.

I have really enjoyed my stay here in the basin, the weather has been kind to us except for an hour yesterday when it absolutely chucked it down, it didn't make it any cooler though. The pub opposite has been busy with everyone sitting outside but it hasn't been noisy just voices in the background.

This is Lucy who has been my little shadow, think it is the dogs that are the attraction not me personally.

It was certainly hard work getting into the city with the locks being big  and deep plus the two staircases but I would recommend a visit to this lovely place.

On our way down here a few people told us “there is another boat with the same name moored in the basin” Well here it is.

Not quite the same spelling as ours though.

We shant be going to Ellesmere Port as we want to travel back up with Betty and Graham as far as the junction with the Middlewich where we will part company. It will make the locks easier with two of us sharing.
