We got the call from John yesterday and he came and fitted the new cratch cover. Now when I say fitted what I mean is he has positioned all the new fittings and once the boat is all done and dusted we can put the new cover in place, at the moment it is folded up on the dinette. So if any one would like to buy our old cover let us know.
It is a Wilsons cover in green and our Hull is a Colecraft but if any one is interested we can get the exact measurements.
We broke our usual pattern and moved off this morning normally weekends are a definite no no. But we managed to get to the designated mooring the other side of Ansty where we had a couple of bumps with hire boats on the way down.
The water level is very low a good 9 inches down and even though we have had a fair bit of rain with the ground being so dry there will be no run off into the canal for some time.
We plan to stay here till Monday and Rugby is only a few hours away, we may stop at Newbold for a day or two if we can get in. Betty and Graham are coming to see us so we need to be somewhere that is accessible by car.
