This was Hillmorton a few days ago. What a lovely sunset.The pictures below were taken at 2.30 this afternoon, felt really sorry for the hire boaters that were on their return journeys.

As it was a grey day today I made some boat cake and it turned out beautifully. It has got Bottles and Maffi's approval and Bones will have some tomorrow. Thanks for the recipe, perhaps you could print it on your blog spot for others to share?
Glad to hear that Paul has a new smile at last!
We did have a spattering of snow here but it soon disappeared. The canal did freeze overnight though.
