Thieving, thieving b*******s

This morning Paul walked the dogs and as he went past the boat he noticed that some light fingered little sh*t had cut and stolen our anchor rope not only that but the boat behind us nb Seyalla had their centre rope cut and stolen. Its strange because while we were moored above bridge 40 at Atherstone Nick on the boat behind us had his centre rope cut and stolen (it was only a week old) and we just thought it was a one off but obviously it wasn't. Paul has rung the police to report this and just to make them aware. SO….. if you moor up anywhere near to Atherstone put all your ropes canal side because these people just lean across the boat so you aren't even aware of what they are doing, it would appear that this happens during the night, they kindly leave you about 8 0r 9 inches behind. All three of us have dogs and none of them even barked. So ours have got the sack and aren't getting any tea tonight.

There it was gone……

Now Paul has got to get out and scrub the roof!!!!!!!!!!

So we have moved a few miles and are settled so Paul can can watch F1 this weekend. Tonight we are going to tie the dogs up outside in the cold, one at the front and one at the back in punishment for their lack of guarding skills, they have obviously become too complacent in their old age.

Fishing or is it phishing…..

If any of you have received a funny email from Paul I apologise. It would appear that our email account has been hacked into and every contact has had an email even Tesco, the doctors surgery you name it they got one.  Some of our friends seeing that the email had an attachment just deleted it but I think Pauls brother in Oz opened his we have yet to talk to him to find out. So once again we are sorry but it wasn't our fault.

Just as well this sort of thing is not widespread. Even so the B s need stringing up.
Thanks for the heads up it`s a place to be aware next time we moor.

Just read your blog, where were you moored? We are moored in Atherstone above the top lock so now wondering what to remove from the top of Petroc.

Gill, our friend Nick had his rope stolen when we were moored before bridge 40 (just before the 48hour moorings)

Lets hope they are using the rope to hang themselves! Keep smiling x
