For the past two days the “boys” have been steaming on. Liam wants to get the bedroom completed before going onto the engine room hopefully tomorrow, so all the trim work is on, the lighting boards are up and the windows have been trimmed in oak to match the others on the boat. Paul has installed the central heating heater (this will have to be removed to allow the B n B to be fitted and painted). The invertor has been positioned along with the travel pack.
The engine room ceiling has had its second top coat this afternoon. While Liam was doing the fiddly bits of trim Paul finished off one of the bathroom radiators and run the pipe work down the boat to the saloon. (Paul is waiting for some more materials to complete the plumbing)
The new kitchen door is in the process of being made, believe it or not there is a locker door missing, Paul has hunted high and low but it just cant be found. It’s in there somewhere we know it is.
Paul has had a good clear out and there is a clear passage through the boat. There is to be a final fitting of the canopy on Saturday so that will be one more thing completed.
Yesterday I went to Coventry with Betty and as we were wandering round Ikea we met Dot and Derek. We all managed to get what we wanted in the store and I have my eye on a couple of chairs will have to see how the budget goes.
As Paul has worked so hard over the past two weeks I have said he can have Sunday off. Might even take him for a pint.
