My Lucky day?

Well, we have been having a very quiet time here at Kiddlington except of course for the Easter traffic to and from College cruisers. The six of us have had some get togethers and then Tranquility had to go to Thrupp to pick up family and they then rejoined us for an evening before setting off for bridge 240 for a couple of days.
This morning the four of us caught the bus to Sainsbury's, the dog food situation was getting a bit on the desperate side and the beer and wine situation was non existent so shopping was a must. Anne and Keith managed with a rucksack each and a bag there was us with a trolley, a rucksack and two bags.
On the bus back to Kiddlington I was sitting on a tip up seat (the ones you have to give up to an elderly person!) and there was a guy there who started chatting away, don't know if he thought I was on my own but all of a sudden he went into one saying he had been doing his garden and proceeded to roll up his trouser leg. Now I thought he was going to show us an injury received through his gardening but no, he then rolled the other trouser leg up and spent the rest of his journey with his very brown legs on show for us all to see. He then told us that Richard Branson lived over the way with the river Cherwell running through his garden. When he got off the bus we all had a laugh and Paul had to make a comment that the last time I pulled a bloke was 20 years ago and he was the unlucky bloke!!! Unlucky bloke eh, just you wait Paul, you will see how unlucky you are.
Popped onto Oakfield for a cuppa and spent an hour talking about dying and all things medical, why you might ask, well, why should I know that's just the way the conversation went.
Paul is now moaning that he is bored, he wants to start ripping the boat about but it is way to early so I have padlocked his tools up so he cant do any thing drastic. Don't want to come back from Kent next week to find bits of boat all over the place. Shhh Paul is now thinking and the peace is so lovely.
