And today's job is……………..

Last night Paul was snoring and I was kept awake by the boat bumping and a strange sound from outside. The noise was like a lock gate banging but the wind wasn't that strong (well not outside, inside was a different matter) this noise was later found to be the BBQ being vibrated by the wind. We now have the tyres out, as the ice has gone we were bumping against the shelf here. Paul has also moved the BBQ and used the centre rope to keep us a bit more secure.

Paul decided that today he would tidy up the wiring in the engine room. So he gave me 15 mins to get the hoovering done before the electric was turned off. I went round the boat so fast there was smoke coming from the wheels on the brush head, Crystal was a bit disappointed as she had to miss her daily hoovering. (yes we do hoover the dog)

Paul got stuck into the wiring and 4 hours later this was the result.

There is still some finishing off to do but as Pauls back was about to give out he had decided to leave the final bits until tomorrow. Looks neat eh!

Here is one for you Anne

Not very shiny I know but that isn't my job and Paul has been busy doing the other priority bits.

The pounds between the locks here are virtually ice free but we understand its not like that elsewhere. At least its not as cold.
