For the last few months we have been thinking about giving up the boat but since Paul has had a small health scare it has put things in a different perspective and has hastened our decision. So as from yesterday Piston Broke is up for sale.
This has not been an easy decision to make as the amount of work that Paul has put in to it has made an idyllic live aboard boat.

That is a shame for all of us who have enjoyed reading about your time afloat. I am sure however it is the right decision because you have made it. I hope whatever you do next includes motorbikes they are the next best thing.... or even better !!

Hi both, So sorry to hear that. We have enjoyed reading your blog immensely and you both will be greatly missed in blogland and on the cut. We met Paul briefly when you were moored next to Derwent 6 last year near Rugby and we visited Del and Al.

Hi Lynne and Paul, Yes really sad to hear you are selling your boat, we still dip in here now and again to get our canal fix. We are really missing our boat and in a way I wish we had held on to it a little longer before deciding to sell it. Mind you we are loving our time ashore and in reality would not have had the time to use Lazydays.
All the best for the future and if you are ever down Somerset way don't forget to call in.

We are so sorry to hear of Paul's ill health and your decision to sell up. We've always enjoyed reading your blog and I have not forgotten your hospitality when we came 'round to visit shortly after I arrived in the UK. Piston Broke is a truly lovely home and I can well imagine how agonizing this decision was to make. Our thoughts are with you both.

We will miss you the most I think! Our first meeting was when we cruised past you on the Oxford canal on Maffi's boat and you called out "Where is the old bu88er then?" Later we met up aboard our own boat and have very much enjoyed your company whenever we have met up over the past three years. Hope you will continue your blog when you become landlubbers again! xx
